What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enterprise Account Executive position at Stringfellow Technology Group?
About Stringfellow
Stringfellow Technology Group is a Nashville-based IT managed services provider. Since 2005, we’ve helped growing companies get IT off their plate with Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, cloud, and practical technology planning. Our all-in-one solution, ProSafeIT, is built for business leaders who want growth without IT headaches.
Who thrives here
You’re competitive, coachable, and ready to build something. You have enough sales experience to know what good prospecting looks like, but you’re still early enough in your career that you’re hungry to prove yourself. You want a real pipeline, a real number, and a team that will invest in making you better. You don’t need hand-holding, but you value structure. You’re the kind of person who books meetings with people you already know just to sharpen your pitch. You want your name on the leaderboard and you’re willing to earn it.
What you’ll do
- Build and manage a pipeline of net-new business. Nashville is home base, but our market is only limited by your imagination
- Drive daily outbound activity: cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, email, networking, and in-person prospecting with owners and executives
- Run sharp first meetings: uncover pain, size the business impact, and lock down next steps on the call
- Present ProSafeIT in terms business leaders care about: productivity, growth, and reduced risk
- Advance and close deals: negotiate, handle objections, and collaborate with our consulting team for smooth client handoffs
- Represent Stringfellow in the market: attend industry events, local associations, and speaking engagements
- Track activity and pipeline in CRM and keep momentum high
What you bring
- 2–5 years of B2B sales experience with a structured approach to new business development (Sandler, Jeb Blount, or similar frameworks a plus)
- A track record of hunting and closing new logos, not just managing existing accounts
- Confidence selling to SMB leadership: owners, COOs, CFOs, and operations managers
- Strong communication and storytelling ability across phone, video, and in-person settings
- Self-starter discipline: you manage your own calendar, hit your activity targets, and hold yourself accountable
- Working knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo
- CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and familiarity with Microsoft 365 are helpful, not required
What you get
- Uncapped commission
- Clear path to six figures for top earners
- Structured 4-week onboarding and ongoing sales coaching from experienced leadership
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) with company match
- Three weeks paid time off
- A sales team that competes hard, wins together, and celebrates results
