Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver products to customers and clients.
- Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques.
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet schedule deadlines.
- Ensure accurate delivery of goods, verifying orders against delivery manifests.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their deliveries and addressing any concerns professionally.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness,maintenance and perform routine safety checks before and after routes. Responsible for damaged to company trucks,Furniture or customer houses.
- Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during route driving
- Assist with warehouse duties, including inventory placement and stock movement, maintaining a organized inventory and a clean and safe warehouse
Experience
- Prior proven experience as a delivery driver is required.
- Experience with years of operating box trucks or larger commercial vehicles
- Familiarity with route driving, heavy lifting, moving items, and warehouse operations such as heavy lifting, carrying mattresses is Required
- Proven ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Previous experience with heavy lifting, load & unload procedures, and safety protocols is required

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
