EXPERIENCED FedEx (Amazon or UPS) Delivery Driver

Striker Enterprises is hiring full-time and part-time FedEx Delivery Route Drivers in the Palmetto/Bradenton, Florida area. We are looking for drivers with previous delivery and driving experience with FedEx, Amazon or UPS!! Our drivers operate out of the Palmetto FedEx terminal and will be making deliveries and pickups in the immediate surrounding residential and business areas. Our drivers operate newer step vans provided by the employer and No CDL is required!! **Looking for previous work experience with FedEx, Amazon or UPS as a driver.

Base Pay: $850-$925/week to start, based on driving and delivery experience

Schedule: Striker Enterprises is looking for flexible people with flexible hours! You must have Saturday and Sunday availability - this is a must!! Saturdays and Sundays are normal workdays for our drivers. Full-time is 5 days a week.

Delivery Driver Job Information:

• We operate 7 days per week ( Monday to Sunday). Full-time – 5 days scheduled per week.
• Arrive at the terminal no later than 8:00 AM and usually dispatch between 8:30-9:30 AM. Route is completed once all packages are delivered (typically 3:00-5:00PM).
• This is a VERY PHYSICAL JOB and requires that the delivery driver gets in and out of the vehicle at each stop.
• There will be stops at apartments/condos that will require you to go up and down stairs periodically.

Delivery Driver Requirements:

***Previous experience as a FedEx, Amazon or UPS driver preferable(we are looking for drivers with TRUCK DRIVING EXPERIENCE ONLY! We will need references to verify previous experience)

• Preferably 1 year of verifiable work with driving experience in the last 3 years with FedEx, Amazon or UPS driving a step van or larger for deliveries
• Definitely must have Clean Backround and Motor Vehicle Record
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to pass a Pre-hire Drug Test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam (cost covered by FedEx)
• Background check required
• Physically able to lift packages from up to 50 lbs, and move up to 150 lbs with a handcart
• May be required to deliver 130-160 stops per day
• Must speak English and be able to read and write in English

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Arrive at the Palmetto FedEx terminal to pick up the vehicle and packages
• Loading and Unloading packages from the truck
• Delivering packages to the destination
• Scanning and Logging Packages
