Venue Operations and Business Development Manager

Strigo Vineyards is a winery and event destination in Central New York, and we are looking for someone to run our venue and grow the business around it.

A quick note on what this job is: we are a venue, not a planning company. We provide the property, the facilities, most of the equipment, and the bar. Wedding planners, caterers, photographers, and florists are partners we bring in. Your job is to make the venue exceptional, build a bench of partners we trust, and grow the business — not to plan the weddings yourself.

We have spent more than ten years making this property what it is. We are looking for someone who wants to help shape what it becomes next.

What You Would Be Doing

•     Selling the venue — tours, contracts, pricing, and being the reason someone books Strigo over somewhere else.

•     Keeping the property beautiful and ready — spaces, equipment, bar operations, and the hundred details guests never notice when they are done right.

•     Building a network of planners, caterers, photographers, florists, and entertainers we trust and who trust us back.

•     Growing the business beyond weddings into corporate events, holiday parties, wine programs, and community partnerships.

•     Getting Strigo out into the community — tourism, local business, hospitality partners, and the people who send guests our way.

•     Working closely with ownership, sharing what you are seeing, and helping decide where we go next.
