Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for an Occupational Therapist located in Fort Myers, FL. The Occupational Therapist will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions to support patients in improving their functional abilities. Responsibilities include creating treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, documenting progress, and providing family or caregiver education as necessary. The therapist will work with pediatric patients.
Qualifications
- Possess expertise in Occupational Therapy, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of therapeutic strategies
- Experience in Rehabilitation and a strong foundation in Medicine to understand and address diverse patient needs
- Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Specialized experience or interest in Pediatrics is highly desired
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented clinical environment
- Valid state license to practice occupational therapy in Florida
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
