Job Description
Strider is seeking a skilled and driven Cloud Engineer to join our Infrastructure & Platform team. This is a hands-on role where you'll support the deployment, security, and automation of our AWS and Azure environments.
You'll work closely with platform, engineering, and security teams to build reliable infrastructure, reduce manual processes through automation, and ensure compliance with performance and security standards. Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage scalable cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure, including automation via Terraform and AWS CDK.
- Configure secure access controls using IAM principles, AWS Identity Center, and least-privilege models.
- Monitor system performance, cost, and availability, identifying trends and suggesting optimizations.
- Build and maintain scripting tools (Python, Bash) to automate infrastructure tasks and operational workflows.
- Manage containerized workloads with Kubernetes/EKS and support Docker-based environments.
- Implement and maintain secrets management solutions (e.g., AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault).
- Partner with Security to ensure infrastructure meets compliance requirements (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP).
- Document infrastructure workflows, automation practices, and operational standards.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in cloud, DevOps, or infrastructure roles, with hands-on expertise in AWS and/or Azure.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Strong knowledge of IAM, SSO, and access management best practices.
- Experience with Kubernetes/EKS and managing containerized workloads at scale.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (VPCs, subnets, routing, VPNs).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Grafana, or Zabbix.
- Experience operating in compliance-focused environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Linux environments.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Elasticsearch or similar distributed systems.
- Familiarity with orchestration frameworks (Flyte, Airflow).
- Exposure to multi-region cloud architecture and deployment patterns.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional.

Salary : $140,000 - $170,000
