What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapy Aide position at Stride Physical Therapy?
Stride Physical Therapy is a private practice physical therapy clinic located in Saint George and Hurricane, UT seeking a part-time physical therapy aide to help us care for our patients! The hours for this position are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:20pm-6:40pm and/or Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:00am-12:40pm.

At Stride Physical Therapy we empower patients over their own limitations by teaching them how to care for themselves. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintain HIPAA standards
- Follow the guidance of PT and maintain clear communication with them
- Ask questions of PT/PTA as appropriate
- Follow all safety standards
- HEP handouts and scanning to chart
- Assist with completing documentation
- Grade and record scores for outcome measures
- Collect and document daily subjective information from patients
- Walk patients through exercise programs
- Watch and correct form
- Explain purpose of exercises
- Assist in ensuring a clear follow-up plan and goals are in place for patient modalities
- Demonstrate safety measures with application of ice and heat
- Demonstrate proper set up with e-stim and ultrasounds
- Assist with general cleaning and maintenance of treatment areas, bathrooms, floors, front desk, etc.
Assist with front desk duties as needed:
- Welcome patients when they arrive
- Schedule patients for future appointments (within authorization limits)
- Answer phones
- Collect payments
- Extended appointment management
- Check-in with patients at the conclusion of their appointments
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
