Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Processes high volumes of incoming and outgoing ACH or wire transactions.
- Corresponds with Bank personnel to ensure that escalated customer inquiries and issues are researched and addressed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provides customer support to both internal and external partners and assists in handling customer support issues.
- Exhibits basic understanding of the Federal Regulations that govern Wire Transfer or ACH transactions and required timeframes for end-of-day borrowing and balancing.
- Exhibits basic working knowledge of fraud and anti-money laundering regulations.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma, or equivalent, required.
- 1-2 years’ bank operations experience in ACH or wires, or 2-3 years’ experience in retail banking or financial institution customer service, or 3-5 years’ similar work experience, required.
- Experience with Jack Henry Products, preferred.
- Meticulous data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience using office equipment and software programs, such as Microsoft Office, and financial services databases.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work with detailed information in an efficient and accurate manner, while meeting established deadlines.
