Responsibilities
- Operate bucket trucks safely and efficiently for tree trimming, pruning, and landscape maintenance projects
- Use rigging techniques to lift and position materials or equipment as needed
- Perform tree care tasks including trimming, pruning, and removal in accordance with industry standards
- Assist with lawn care, landscape maintenance, and horticultural activities to promote healthy growth
- Conduct inspections of equipment and work sites to ensure safety protocols are followed
- Utilize GIS tools for mapping and planning purposes related to project sites
- Support team members in executing project plans with precision and attention to detail
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment after each job
Experience
- Prior experience operating bucket trucks or similar aerial lift equipment is required
- Knowledge of rigging procedures and safety standards in tree care or landscaping is preferred
- Familiarity with GIS technology for site mapping or project planning is a plus
- Background in horticulture, tree trimming, land surveying, or landscape maintenance is advantageous
- Growing experience in the industry or related fields such as lawn care or arboriculture is beneficial
- Strong understanding of safety practices related to working at heights and operating heavy machinery
