Non CDL Courier/Hot Shot Driver

Role Description The Non CDL Courier/Hot Shot Driver is a part-time position located in the Shreveport, LA area . No heavy equipment, no heavy loads, anything from small packages to small bundles of wire and pipe etc. In this position, the driver is responsible for picking up, transporting, and delivering various items and freight to local and regional destinations in a safe and timely manner. Daily tasks include planning routes, loading and unloading cargo, verifying delivery documentation, and maintaining clear communication with dispatch and customers. Seeking a semi-retired delivery driver. Have you retired and need something extra to do? This is not full time position. Coordinate your work schedule with our dispatch office. We are a small company and operate as a tight knit group.

Qualifications

• Logistics Management and Transportation skills to plan routes, manage schedules, and coordinate timely pickups and deliveries.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and familiarity with local and regional roadways.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move packages and freight safely, including use of basic loading equipment when needed.
• Strong time management, reliability, and attention to detail in documentation and delivery verification.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior courier, delivery, or driving experience is a plus.
