Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Jarraff Operator to manage and operate specialized equipment for tree care, landscape maintenance, and land management projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with rigging, GIS, bucket operation, and bucket trucks, along with a strong background in horticulture and tree trimming. This role involves working in outdoor environments, utilizing advanced machinery to ensure safe and efficient land and tree management.
Responsibilities
- Operate Jarraff equipment safely and efficiently for tree removal, trimming, and land clearing projects
- Utilize rigging techniques to secure trees and limbs during operations
- Manage Jarraff operations
- Apply GIS technology for mapping and planning land management activities
- Perform tree care, trimming, and landscaping tasks.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and inspected before use
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope
Requirements
- Proven experience operating Jarraff machinery or similar heavy equipment such as bucket trucks
- Knowledge of rigging, tree care, tree trimming, horticulture, and landscape maintenance
- Growing experience in arboriculture or horticulture is highly desirable
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy machinery operation and tree work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred
