Role Description The Stretch Therapist (Flexologist™) is a part-time, on-site role based in Spring, TX. In this position, the therapist provides one-on-one assisted stretching sessions, tailoring each session to client needs, goals, and limitations. Daily responsibilities include conducting client assessments, guiding safe and effective stretches, tracking progress, and educating clients on flexibility, recovery, and mobility best practices. The role also involves maintaining a clean and welcoming studio environment, supporting front desk operations when needed, and fostering a positive, team-oriented atmosphere. Stretch Therapists actively engage with clients to build strong relationships, encourage session packages and memberships, and contribute to StretchLab’s reputation for exceptional service.
Qualifications
- Background in health, fitness, or body work (e.g., personal training, massage therapy, physical therapy assistant, yoga or Pilates instruction) and strong interest in mobility and flexibility.
- Ability to learn and apply StretchLab’s proprietary Flexologist™ training, with solid understanding of anatomy, body mechanics, and safe movement practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain techniques clearly, listen to client concerns, and build trust with diverse clients.
- Customer service mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality sessions, creating a welcoming studio environment, and supporting client retention and satisfaction.
- Comfort working in an energetic, team-based studio setting and collaborating with colleagues to support studio operations and special events.
- Ability to stand, move, and assist clients physically throughout shifts; willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in fitness, wellness, or body work disciplines are strongly preferred.
- CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.
