About the Role
StretchLab is seeking a highly organized, energetic, and community-focused Area Manager to oversee operations across our Basking Ridge and Somerville studios. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent communication skills, a passion for wellness, and the ability to drive member growth through grassroots outreach and social media engagement.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and ensure consistent execution of the StretchLab member experience across both studios.
- Manage staff schedules, support team performance, assist with hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development.
- Maintain organized, efficient, and compliant studio environments.
- Lead grassroots marketing efforts and build partnerships with local businesses, gyms, sports teams, and community organizations.
- Support member acquisition and retention through outreach, events, and relationship building.
- Attend and represent StretchLab at weekend pop-ups and community events as needed.
- Utilize social media to promote studio events, engage followers, and increase brand visibility.
- Communicate effectively with staff, members, and ownership; provide regular updates and insights directly to the owners.
- Promote a positive studio culture centered around health, wellness, and the benefits of assisted stretching.
Qualifications
- Experience in studio management, fitness/wellness management, or a related leadership role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage two studio locations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable engaging with community partners and representing the brand at events.
- Working knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) and ability to create basic content.
- Passion for the wellness industry and helping others improve their well-being.
- Ability to work weekends for pop-ups and special events as needed.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
