Stretch Forming Corp, a leading aerospace stretch forming and machining manufacturer specializing in high-precision metal forming for commercial, government, and space applications. Our team is expanding, and we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the reliability, safety, and performance of our production equipment and facility.
Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of industrial machinery—including hydraulic stretch presses, CNC machines, pumps, mechanical systems, and facility equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to perform preventative maintenance (PM) on specialized manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on stretch press machines, CNC machines, and support equipment.
· Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including:
o Low-voltage single-phase (120V)
o 480V three-phase systems
· Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, hydraulic pumps, valves, and controls.
· Conduct mechanical repairs on industrial machinery and facility systems.
· Repair and maintain forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
· Perform minor engine repairs on diesel, propane, and gasoline-powered equipment.
· Inspect, maintain, and repair building systems and facility infrastructure.
· Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
· Maintain accurate maintenance logs and PM records.
· Follow safety protocols and comply with OSHA and company safety policies.
Qualifications & Skills
· 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing or aerospace preferred).
· Strong working knowledge of:
o Electrical systems (120V single-phase / 480V three-phase)
o Hydraulic pumps, valves, and controls
o Mechanical systems and industrial machinery
· Experience with forklift repair and engine repair (diesel, propane, gasoline).
· Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics.
· Familiarity with CNC machines and stretch-forming equipment (preferred).
· Basic building and facility maintenance skills.
· Ability to lift at least 80 lbs.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions
· Manufacturing environment with exposure to industrial machinery, lubricants, and moderate noise.
· Physical requirements include bending, standing, climbing, and lifting up to 80 lbs.
