Role Description The Round Sling Machine Operator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Simpsonville, SC. This role involves assembling, sewing, and finishing round slings according to established specifications and safety standards. The Round Sling Operator operates and maintains the Round Sling machines, labels and color-codes products, and prepares finished items for packaging and shipment. Day-to-day responsibilities also include maintaining a clean and safe work area, following OSHA and company safety procedures, documenting production activities, and collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Qualifications
- Ability to operate industrial sewing machines or related fabrication equipment, or willingness to be trained.
- Attention to detail for quality inspection, labeling, and adherence to OSHA standards.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift materials, and handle repetitive tasks safely.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Reliable work habits, punctuality, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, textiles, rigging gear, or industrial production is beneficial but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA.
- Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work.
Hourly Pay & Benefits
Starting rate for first shift: $15/hr
Starting rate for second shift: $16/hr
