What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Sales and Inside Sales Support Representative position at Streicher's?

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. SALES:
Over-the-counter sales of various equipment to Public Safety Professionals, including Emergency Responders. Our Minneapolis (HQ) Showroom Team works in tandem with our Outside Sales Team, and is supported by the Streicher’s e-commerce site. You WILL NOT be asked to perform outbound solicitation calls. We are a multi sales channel company who delivers the highest level of customer service in our industry. We accomplish this in-part by being great communicators through all of today's platforms (phone, text, email, social media, and obviously, in-person, face-to-face interaction).
B. SALES SUPPORT:
Our goal is to provide a great experience for ALL patrons of Streicher’s. As a Sales Representative, your day to day experience may differ. One day you may be equipping, from head-to-toe, a rookie Police Officer. The next day you may find yourself selling Outerwear to a Paramedic, or Footwear to a Firefighter.. Over time you become an expert in various product categories and get great satisfaction from knowing you helped to equip the Hero’s of today. And, have provided them with the tools necessary to perform their duties.

Streicher’s is a family owned and operated business. We employ less than 100 individuals, but have experienced exponential growth in recent years, and continue to trend upward.
