Bartender/Server

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Server or Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in serving or bartending, and food service, with a flair for creating exceptional customer experiences. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing excellent service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area in a fine dining environment.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain an extensive knowledge of drink recipes, ingredients, and preparation techniques.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
• Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.

Experience

• Previous bartending experience in a fine dining or upscale environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in the food service industry.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating totals accurately.
• Experience in brewing or mixology is beneficial but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere.
