Job Overview
Street Market Boba is looking for a motivated, reliable, and hardworking Line Cook to join our team at our new storefront location in Maui, beginning August 2026. We are a fast-paced restaurant specializing in Taiwanese street food, local favorites, and handcrafted boba drinks. As a Line Cook, you will play a key role in preparing high-quality food while maintaining consistency, cleanliness, and efficiency in the kitchen. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Street Market Boba recipes and quality standards
- Execute food preparation tasks including cutting, marinating, portioning, and stocking ingredients
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including fryers, woks, grills, and prep equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
- Assist with opening, closing, and daily kitchen prep duties
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs to management
- Work efficiently during peak service periods while maintaining food quality and presentation
- Support fellow team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of hot line cooking experience required
- Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant, food truck, QSR, or commercial kitchen environment
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to multitask and maintain quality under pressure
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn

After building a loyal following through our food truck, we are excited to open our new storefront and continue serving our community with great food, great drinks, and great service.

Pay: $20.00/hour, plus tips
Work Location: Kahului, Maui, HI
Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule:
- Day or Evening Shift

- Holidays as needed
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year hot line cooking experience.
