This role is ideal for individuals with experience in grassroots organizing, community outreach, public affairs, or political campaigns who excel in fast-paced, collaborative environments.This is a community-facing position responsible for regional outreach management, stakeholder engagement, and program coordination. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing teams, building relationships with community-based organizations, organizing workshops and events, and representing the firm across diverse communities.While the role will have a primary regional assignment, it is not a project-based position. We are looking for a long-term team member who can help grow our community engagement, outreach, and coalition-building capacity in Northern California.The Account Associate will also work closely with internal departmentsincluding operations, data intelligence, finance, HR, and creative servicesto ensure seamless execution of deliverables.What You Will AchieveRegional Field & Community Engagement LeadershipServe as a regional lead for community engagement and public-facing initiativesManage, supervise, and support outreach staff across multiple Bay Area locationsBuild and sustain relationships with community partners, nonprofits, local leaders, and stakeholdersRepresent the firm at meetings, community events, workshops, and stakeholder conveningsEvent, Workshop & Outreach CoordinationOrganize and execute community events, workshops, canvassing activities, and outreach drivesProvide case managementstyle follow-ups with community members as neededCoordinate logistics, scheduling, materials, and vendor support for local initiativesProject Coordination & Internal CollaborationSupport account managers with day-to-day operations across multiple client accountsTrack project progress and follow up on tasks, deadlines, and team needsCollaborate with cross-functional departments (data, operations, HR, creative) to execute deliverablesPrepare summaries, updates, and reports to communicate on-the-ground insights to senior leadershipCommunication & Content SupportDraft or assist with reports, memos, presentations, outreach scripts, and other communication materialsContribute to the development of visually compelling materials for clients and stakeholdersEnsure clear and timely communication between internal teams, partners, and community contactsTime & Task ManagementBalance a dynamic schedule involving meetings, travel, outreach coordination, and content developmentOrganize daily, weekly, and monthly tasks with strong attention to detail and competing prioritiesWho You AreMinimum of 1 year of experience in public affairs, community organizing, political campaigns, or related fieldsStrong communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse communities and stakeholdersDemonstrated experience managing outreach teams, community partners, or grassroots initiativesHighly organized with strong follow-through and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesProficiency with Google Suite, Slack, Dropbox, Canva, Trello, and Tableau dashboardsExperience creating or supporting presentations and visual materialsComfortable working independently in the field and managing fast-paced, deadline-driven workloadsWillingness to travel throughout Northern California as requiredFluency in Spanish or Vietnamese strongly preferredWorking at Street Level StrategyStarting salary: 75,000- 80kHealth benefits, 401K, and PensionGenerous paid time offHybrid onsite and remote work environmentStreet Level Strategy, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
