Engineer V

Description

Minimum Experience: 5 or more years of experience working on a federal support services contract. 3 or more year of experience working for the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) is preferred. 

• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering related field. 

1.6 TRAVEL 

The candidate shall be prepared to travel at any time to the following sites, laboratories, and plants within the NNSA Complex: 

• Albuquerque Complex, Albuquerque, New Mexico; 

• Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Livermore, California; 

• Los Alamos National Laboratory, Los Alamos, New Mexico; 

• Nevada National Security Site, Las Vegas, Nevada; 

• Sandia National Laboratory, Albuquerque, New Mexico; 

• Savannah River Site, Aiken, South Carolina; 

• Y-12 National Security Complex, Oak Ridge, Tennessee; 

• Kansas City Plant, Kansas City, Missouri; and 

• Pantex Plant, Amarillo, Texas. 

No foreign travel is anticipated; however advanced notice in writing from the COR or CO if foreign travel is required. 

1.7 PLACE OF PERFORMANCE 

Work under this Task Order may be performed at any of the following DOE/NNSA facilities locations with COR approval: 

• Forrestal Headquarters, 1000 Independence Avenue, S.W., Washington, D.C. 20585; 

• Germantown Headquarters, 19901 Germantown Road, Germantown, MD 20874; and 

• Albuquerque Headquarters, 24600 20th Street SE, Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, NM 87117.
