Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent guest services throughout their dining experience.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring all details are captured correctly.
• Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and maximize sales.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for processing payments.
• Address any guest concerns or inquiries promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus, enhancing understanding of food preparation processes.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Familiarity with OpenTable for reservations is advantageous.
• Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling are essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary.
