Responsibilities
- Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other specialized equipment, to recover and transport vehicles safely and efficiently
- Conduct automotive diagnostics and basic repairs to assess vehicle condition before towing
- Load, unload, and secure vehicles using appropriate equipment such as straps, chains, or forklifts when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, dispatchers, and roadside assistance teams
- Manage conflict situations professionally while maintaining safety protocols during vehicle recovery operations
- Perform routine inspections of tow truck equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, including details of vehicle condition, location, and time of service
Experience
- You do not need experience Proven experience operating tow trucks or similar commercial driving vehicles with a valid driver’s license, preferably with a manual transmission endorsement
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, automotive repair, or mechanic roles
- Familiarity with flatbed tow trucks, forklift operation, and automotive load & unload procedures
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Customer service skills combined with conflict management abilities to handle challenging situations professionally
- Prior experience in driving commercial vehicles or heavy-duty trucks is highly desirable
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety awareness at all times
