Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Field Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across construction sites and ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations. As a key member of the construction management team, you will oversee safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and implement comprehensive safety training programs to uphold the highest standards of workplace safety.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs aligned with OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, NEC, and other relevant construction safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards, ensure compliance with construction workplace safety regulations, and enforce safety policies.
- Lead safety training sessions for construction personnel on topics such as electrical safety procedures, OSHA requirements, NFPA standards, and occupational health practices.
- Manage incident investigations, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Oversee risk management strategies by assessing potential hazards related to construction activities and implementing mitigation measures.
- Ensure proper documentation of safety procedures, compliance management records, and training logs using construction management software.
- Collaborate with project managers and team leaders to promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability across all sites.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site safety management with a strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and ANSI standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in occupational health principles, risk management practices, and OSHA compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of NEC electrical safety procedures, NFPA standards, Workers' Compensation policies, and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a culture of continuous improvement in safety practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and construction management software for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Strong communication skills to deliver engaging safety training sessions and coordinate with diverse teams.
- Relevant certifications such as First Aid & CPR, OSHA 30-Hour or 500-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.
