Journeyman Plumber

Job description:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildingsUse a variety of tools and equipment to cut, bend, and thread pipes
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues, such as clogged drains or broken pipes/sewer repair and replacement
• Repair and replace tankless water heaters, boilers, and standard water heaters
• Run a sewer camera to identify plumbing issues
• Repair and install gas lines
• Provide excellent customer service
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning
• Daily invoicing completed jobs
• Quoting jobs for customers
• Stocking your truck with plumbing supplies daily
• Follow safety procedures and adhere to building codes and regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a plumber/4 years minimum experience
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including pipe materials, fittings, and fixtures
• Mechanical knowledge to understand how different components work together
• Basic carpentry skills to build necessary structures for plumbing installations
• Familiarity with schematics and building plans
• Valid driver's license/good driving record
• Basic math skills for measuring, calculating pipe lengths, and estimating material quantities
• Background checks will be performed
• Drug testing will be required before you are hired
• Journeyman License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
