Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Austin, TX, for a Building Engineer. The Building Engineer will oversee the daily maintenance and operational performance of assigned facilities. Key responsibilities include conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing systems, managing plumbing and general building repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Collaboration with property management, vendors, and other team members is essential to ensure smooth facility management and operations.
Qualifications
- Experience in Building Maintenance and Facility Management (FM)
- Skills in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Maintenance & Repair
- Expertise in Preventive Maintenance procedures
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
- Certification or training in building systems or technology is a plus
- Prior experience with commercial or multi-tenant properties is an advantage
