Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mandarin-speaking Primary Teacher to lead a classroom of children ages 3–6 in our Mandarin immersion Montessori program.
This role is ideal for an educator who values respectful guidance, hands-on learning, and supporting young children in building confidence and communication skills.
Duties
- Lead a Mandarin immersion classroom using Montessori principles
- Prepare and maintain an organized, engaging classroom environment
- Guide children in:
- Mandarin language development
- Practical life and independence
- Social-emotional growth
- Observe, assess, and document student progress
- Communicate effectively with parents
- Collaborate with assistants and school leadership
Skills
- Native or fluent Mandarin Chinese speaker
- Experience working with children ages 3–6
- Strong communication skills in both Mandarin and English
- Strong classroom management and lesson planning
- Warm, patient, and supportive teaching style
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
