What are the responsibilities and job description for the Music Marketing Manager position at Stream Live?
About Stream Live
Stream Live is a next-generation music platform built to connect artists, fans, and live experiences in real time. We work at the intersection of music, culture, technology, and community—supporting emerging and established artists through live streaming, events, and digital-first fan engagement.
We’re looking for a Music Marketing Manager to lead artist campaigns, grow audiences, and turn moments into movements.
As Music Marketing Manager, you’ll own the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across releases, live streams, events, and artist activations. You’ll work closely with artists, creators, interns, and partners to build culturally relevant campaigns that cut through noise—especially across Gen-Z and millennial audiences.
This role is ideal for someone deeply plugged into music culture, social platforms, and emerging trends.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns for artist releases, live streams, and Stream Live events
- Develop artist marketing strategies across social, digital, influencer, and experiential channels
- Manage content calendars for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms
- Work directly with artists and their teams to shape narratives, rollouts, and fan engagement ideas
- Lead influencer, creator, and college ambassador activations (especially in LA & US colleges)
- Oversee paid and organic growth strategies in collaboration with internal teams
- Track campaign performance and optimize based on data and fan behavior
- Coordinate with design, video, and tech teams to deliver high-quality creative assets
- Stay ahead of music, pop culture, and platform trends to keep campaigns fresh and relevant
- 3–6 years experience in music marketing, artist marketing, or entertainment marketing
- Deep understanding of hip-hop, pop, R&B, indie, and live music culture
- Strong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and viral content formats
- Comfortable working directly with artists, managers, and creative teams
- Highly organized, creative, and comfortable running multiple campaigns at once
- Data-aware but culture-first—you know when to trust instincts
- Based in Los Angeles or willing to relocate
- Experience working at a label, music startup, festival, or artist management company
- Experience running college or street-team style campaigns
- Strong relationships with creators, influencers, or tastemakers
- Understanding of live streaming platforms, fan communities, or Web3 / AI tools in music
- Work directly with artists and live music experiences
- Be part of a fast-growing, culture-led music platform
- Creative freedom to build bold, modern campaigns
- Opportunity to shape how fans discover and engage with music
