Position: Technician
Position Description
Roles of the Technician include, but are not limited to:
- Build innovative workstations, flow racks, and carts with clients onsite using Stream Kaizen Materials and Stream’s Kaizen Innovation Trailer, or in Stream's Moonshine (Kaizen) Shop in Cincinnati, OH.
- Deliver materials to local customers with Stream company vehicles or be reimbursed for mileage on personal vehicle.
- Support Value Stream Mapping (VSM) workshops including cycle time observations, inventory counts, part / people travel, quality system reviews and general observation.
- Support collaborative working sessions with the client to establish a vision for the future state.
- Support Kaizen events in a manufacturing, office, military and / or healthcare setting.
Physical Requirements
Stream technicians routinely engage in leading client teams through VSM, and Kaizen activity. Executing these projects may require extensive physical work while standing in front of the client team, capturing data and observing the process on the shop floor, or building carts, flow racks and workstations.
Travel Requirements
Stream is working to build business relationships in the Cincinnati / Dayton metro areas. However, we remain committed to engaging clients wherever they are. The technician will likely travel, primarily to domestic locations, to work with clients. Typical travel requirements are Monday – Thursday.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Experience:
- Lean manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Mechanical assembly: 1 year (Preferred)
