Key position functions include:
- Lead and manage the assembly, testing, and painting team to ensure all procedures are conducted efficiently and accurately.
- Oversee and ensure the safe execution of pressure testing procedures, including the setup, operation, and maintenance of pressure testing equipment.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for assembly, testing, and painting processes, with a focus on resolving issues related to pressure testing.
- Maintain detailed records of all assembly, testing, and painting procedures, results, and any corrective actions taken, particularly those related to pressure testing.
- Work closely with other departments, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of assembly, testing, and painting processes.
- Train and mentor technicians, emphasizing the importance of pressure testing safety and procedures, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in assembly, testing, and painting, with a focus on enhancing pressure testing safety and efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred candidate will possess a combination of the following:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 3-5 years of previous oilfield equipment experience is preferred
- Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong technical knowledge of assembly, testing, and painting processes.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and effective leadership skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Certified to assemble valves / range of valve assemblies
- Certified to operate overhead cranes and forklifts
- Effective written, verbal and reading skills (English)
- Valid Driver’s License (must provide a Driver’s Abstract)
- Expertise in pressure testing procedures and safety protocols.
