Strawberry Point Lutheran Home is seeking a PRN Nurse to support our care team in the Memory Care Manor, a 16-bed unit designed for residents living with dementia or memory-related conditions. Our team focuses on providing a safe, structured environment while helping residents maintain dignity, engagement, and quality of life.

This as-needed role offers scheduling flexibility and the opportunity to pick up shifts based on availability and staffing needs.

Compensation

• Base Pay: $27.50 - 37.00 per hour

• Night Shift Differential: $3.00/hour for overnight shifts

• Additional Incentive: $10.00/hour currently offered for picked-up shifts

Potential Earnings Examples:

• Day shifts picked up: $37.50 - 47.00/hour

• Night shifts picked up: $40.50 - 50.00/hour

(Actual earnings vary based on shift and incentive eligibility.)

Schedule

• PRN / as-needed scheduling

• Available shifts include:

  • 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

  • Partial shifts may also be available

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in Iowa

• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or memory care preferred

• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with the care team
