Strawberry Home Care – McKinney, TX
Job Type: Part-Time / PRN Service Area: McKinney, Frisco, Plano & surrounding DFW areas
Strawberry Home Care is seeking an experienced, dependable Lead Caregiver / Field Supervisor to assist with client care and day-to-day field operations as our agency grows.
This position is ideal for an experienced caregiver who enjoys working with clients but is also comfortable completing assessments, supervisory visits, caregiver orientations and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal assistance and caregiver services as needed
- Complete new-client intake and home assessments as assigned
- Assist with developing and updating client service plans
- Conduct client supervisory and follow-up visits
- Help orient caregivers to client-specific assignments
- Observe and document caregiver competency
- Assist with caregiver orientation and training
- Check client and caregiver documentation for completeness
- Follow up with clients and families regarding services
- Report changes in client condition or service needs
- Assist with caregiver call-outs and coverage when needed
- Complete required electronic documentation
- Assist with quality-assurance activities
- Communicate closely with Agency leadership
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of caregiving/home-care experience preferred
- CNA or experienced caregiver strongly preferred
- Home care, assisted living, hospice or similar experience preferred
- Experience supervising or training caregivers is a plus
- Comfortable visiting clients in their homes
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance when driving for work
- Dependable, organized and able to work independently
- Comfortable using electronic documentation and mobile apps
Schedule
Flexible part-time/PRN position with hours increasing as Strawberry Home Care’s client census grows.
Some caregiver shifts may be available in addition to supervisory/assessment visits.
Compensation
Competitive hourly and/or per-visit compensation based on experience and responsibilities.
