Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs
• Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage through engaging product demos
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Upsell products by highlighting new or popular items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh inventory
• Conduct stock checks, inventory counts, and assist with stocking to keep the store organized and inviting
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments
• Assist with product demos and educate customers on new offerings to promote informed purchasing decisions

Requirements

• Prior retail sales experience, preferably in grocery stores or similar environments involving customer interaction
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
• Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Ability to handle phone inquiries courteously and efficiently
• Basic math skills necessary for cash register operations and inventory management
• Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and retail sales strategies
