Job Summary –
- Part-time Developmental Teacher
- Support baby’s birth to three years old with developmental delays
- Work as part of home-based Early Intervention program serving Centre County
Organization Expectations –
- Responsible for providing intervention services of assigned children in the area(s) of social, emotional, cognitive, and behavioral development
- Familiarity with early childhood assessment tools preferred
- Some evening hours possible
Job Specifications –
- Bachelor’s degree in in related field to child development plus two years' experience working with children
- Master's degree in education preferred
- Valid PA driver’s license, good driving record, with use of own vehicle
- State, FBI, and child abuse background checks required
- Professional and Personal references required
- Must have exceptional communication skills in interactions with consumers, staff, families, and the community
- One-year commitment preferred
- Only applicants who meet minimum requirements will be considered
Physical demand –
Ability to exert moderate physical activity, interact with children on the floor and possess the physical stamina to deal with emergencies.
