As a Territory Manager, you will embody our core values of collaboration, agility, ownership, and innovation. This role is pivotal in driving profitable sales growth and maximizing sales revenue within a defined territory. You will develop, maintain, and advance existing accounts while identifying and converting new business opportunities. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Focus on Customers: Build genuine relationships with dental professionals by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions that align with Straumann’s Digital, Implant, Biomaterial, and Restorative product and service lines.
  • Take Ownership: Drive profitable sales growth and maximize sales revenue within a defined territory by developing, maintaining, and advancing existing accounts and prospects.
  • Create Opportunities: Identify, target, and convert new business opportunities with dentists, periodontists, prosthodontists, dental laboratories and oral surgeons in the defined territory.
  • Collaborate: Partner with Product Marketing and Market Communications to support the execution of marketing launch plans and new product sales objectives.
  • Engage: Leverage education events to develop existing customers, build brand loyalty, and gain new customers. Actively participate in Study Clubs, ensuring Straumann presentations are delivered and relationships are built with participants.
  • Be Agile: Adapt proactively to changing customer needs and market conditions. Utilize sales tools, such as SAP CRM, to effectively plan and measure sales activities against the territory’s customer base and prospective customers.
  • Communicate Effectively: Stay informed about key clinical studies and scientific papers supporting Straumann’s product benefits. Deliver highly complex information in a clear, structured, and compelling manner.
  • Build Trust: Maintain integrity, high ethics, and professional codes of conduct at all times.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree OR 3 years of sales experience in high-growth corporate markets.
  • Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and ability to maintain auto insurance coverage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the medical device industry.
  • Prior sales experience with physicians as the principal point of contact.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to present and negotiate.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members within the region as well as independently.
  • Confidence in using insights and adapting selling approaches based on customer needs and situations.

We are seeking an experienced R2R Finance Solution Architect to join our Global Finance Services and Controlling Applications Team. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of finance solutions, drive process standardization, and contribute to the transformation of our financial systems, including our migration to SAP S/4HANA. Reporting to our headquarters in Basel, Switzerland, you will collaborate with global stakeholders to optimize finance operations and enable business growth.

As part of Straumann's finance transformation journey, including a shift to SAP S/4HANA, you will play a key role in rolling out and improving core processes across our international subsidiaries. You will work independently with stakeholders, coordinate with external suppliers, and have the freedom to innovate while delivering state-of-the-art finance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Implementation

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of R2R solutions, focusing on SAP finance enterprise structure, finance master data distribution models and system integration
  • Configure and enhance SAP Treasury functionality, with a particular focus on Loans management
  • Act as technical owner for configuring and optimizing RE-FX module for IFRS16 compliance
  • Drive the transition from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, ensuring seamless migration and integration

Process Standardization & Optimization

  • Standardize and optimize global R2R processes, particularly period-end closing procedures, intercompany reconciliation, fixed asset accounting, and financial reporting
  • Develop and document solution architecture, including process flows, integration patterns, and technical specifications Implement best practices for finance process automation and efficiency improvements  

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders in Finance, Treasury, Procurement, and IT, aligning finance solutions with business strategies
  • Lead solution design workshops to gather business requirements and provide technical leadership
  • Manage relationships and coordinate with external consulting and support service providers to ensure efficient solution delivery

Compliance & Best Practices

  • Ensure all solutions comply with financial regulations, corporate governance standards, and IFRS requirements
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance on R2R best practices.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in solution architecture, including 5 years specializing in R2R finance processes with SAP ecosystems
  • Deep expertise in SAP finance modules, particularly in SAP Treasury (Loans management) and RE-FX
  • Proven track record of successful global SAP implementations
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformation projects
  • Strong knowledge of finance master data distribution models
  • Understanding of financial processes, consolidation principles, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with group reporting and consolidation systems (preferred)
  • Proactive and customer-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently
  • Resilience, eager to learn, and able to think holistically and strategically
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (5-10%).
