Job Summary
Straube’s Aircraft Services is hiring experienced Aircraft Painters for our 2nd shift (night team). Candidates must have at least 3 years of aircraft painting experience, including prep and full paint process. We are looking for detail-oriented professionals who take pride in high-quality work.
Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft prep, masking, sanding, and surface preparation
- Mix and apply primers, topcoats, and specialty finishes
- Buff, polish, and finish painted surfaces to quality standards
- Match colors and calculate proper mix ratios
- Work with polyesters, urethanes, Imron, and acrylic clear coats
- Complete complex masking and finishing tasks
- Document work completed on work orders
- Maintain tools and follow safety procedures
- Assist technicians and support team operations as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years aircraft painting experience (REQUIRED)
- Must know prep and full paint process
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
- Must be reliable and have open availability for 2nd shift
