- Prep footwear, apparel, and accessories for photography
- Steam, clean, shape, and structure products to exact specifications
- Use styling tools (inserts, tape, polyfill, glue dots, etc.) to perfect form and presentation
- Ensure every item is camera-ready—no wrinkles, no defects, no missed details
- Build and maintain proper shape and structure for footwear (sneakers, boots, cleats, etc.)
- Understand materials, construction, and how products should present on camera
- Execute small, detailed adjustments that make a big visual difference
- Receive, organize, and distribute merchandise based on shoot schedules
- Track product movement through prep → shoot → wrap
- Collect and reset product post-shoot to maintain workflow
- Identify and flag product issues (damage, incorrect items, inconsistencies)
- Perform quality checks to ensure prep meets studio and client standards
- Follow style guides with high accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with prep team, merchandising, and production to hit daily output goals
- Communicate clearly on product readiness and issues
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and production demands
- 1–2 years in a studio, e-commerce, or product-focused environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail—this role lives in the details
- Experience with product prep or styling tools (tape, inserts, shaping materials, etc.)
- Footwear experience is a strong plus
- Ability to follow style guides and execute consistently at speed
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple items at once
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
