Primary Essential Functions
- Design, layout and detail lighting and electrical power distribution for manufacturing facilities in the food & beverage industry.
- Assist with production of technical plans, specifications, drawings and models.
- Visit job sites and assist with measuring, data collection and construction observation.
- Prepare and present technical presentations to peers, project teams and clients.
- Conduct research on codes, standards, and sustainable electrical practices.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers on coordinated building systems.
- Work primarily within 3D BIM with Revit while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Knowledge
- Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles and building systems.
- Awareness of power, lighting, and communication system design.
- Familiarity with 3D BIM, Revit, or electrical design tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
- Ability to learn design software quickly.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
Required
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Electrical Engineering or related program.
- Strong academic performance in relevant coursework.
- Basic proficiency in Revit.
