Janitor/Custodian

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian and Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including residential and commercial environments. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and facilities maintenance, ensuring that all areas are well-kept and presentable.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Maintain cleanliness in residential spaces through effective cleaning techniques.
• Conduct commercial cleaning tasks to uphold high standards of hygiene in business environments.
• Carry out floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to enhance the appearance of surfaces.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure consistency and quality of work.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with buffing equipment and floor care practices is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and move objects as necessary for cleaning tasks.
• A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Requirements:

• Reliable personal transportation and valid driver's license are required to perform the required duties of this position.
• Ability to work the required schedule.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
