What are the responsibilities and job description for the Perioperative RN Office Manager position at Stratus Anesthesia Solutions?
Like any office manager, the RN Office Manager handles administrative operations of the practice such as scheduling and payment processing. The RN office manager uses their nursing expertise to review patient charts and make preoperative phone calls. The office manager is the first line of safety to screen patient medical histories for comorbidities that would make office based anesthesia unsafe. They communicate with both dental offices and patients to ensure all paperwork is completed and any required clearances are completed and followed up.
With responsible work habits, most days can be work-from-home, using a company-provided computer and desk phone. Occasionally you will accompany the anesthesiologist to local dental offices when a PRN RN coverage is not scheduled or the PRN RN calls in sick. If you would prefer a brick-and-mortar office setting, we can discuss this as well.
We are currently a one-physician practice, but we are looking to hire another physician in the future.
