Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Outbound Supervisor to lead our outbound logistics operations within a fast-paced warehouse environment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the coordination and execution of shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of goods. Duties

• Supervise daily outbound shipping activities, including order picking, packing, and loading procedures
• Manage inventory control processes to maintain accuracy in stock levels and reduce discrepancies
• Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure efficient distribution and timely dispatch of goods
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to track shipments and inventory updates
• Oversee forklift operations and materials handling equipment to ensure safety and efficiency during heavy lifting tasks
• Implement process improvements to streamline outbound workflows, reduce errors, and enhance productivity
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and conduct regular safety audits to maintain a safe working environment
• Lead team management efforts by training staff on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment use

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse supervision, logistics, or distribution operations with a focus on outbound processes
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse management systems (WMS), and materials handling techniques
• Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, heavy lifting protocols, and forklift operation (certification preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially within e-commerce or 3PL (third-party logistics) settings
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative work environment
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety and materials handling standards
• · Must be experienced operating all warehouse equipment, including Bendi, Cherry Picker, Stand-Up Forklift, and Sit-Down Forklift
