Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations to assess patient conditions and needs.
- Develop and implement effective primary care strategies for managing acute and chronic pain and musculoskeletal issues.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to inform treatment decisions and patient education.
- Observe patients closely during treatment sessions to monitor progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Create detailed care plans tailored to individual patient requirements, ensuring optimal recovery outcomes.
- Maintain accurate medical records using appropriate medical terminology and documentation practices.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients, including occupational health considerations.
- Educate patients on lifestyle changes, exercises, and preventive measures to enhance their overall well-being.
Skills
- Strong proficiency in conducting physical examinations and patient assessments.
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to chiropractic care.
- Experience in acute and chronic pain management techniques and strategies.
- Excellent observational skills for monitoring patient progress during treatments.
- Ability to develop effective care plans that address individual patient needs.
- Strong communication skills for educating patients about their conditions and treatment options.
- Collaborative mindset for working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Experience in trigger point and/or functional dry needling.
- Proficiency in spinal manipulation is a requirement.
- ART Certification is a plus, but we will train additional techniques and assessments including osteopathic approaches.
