Snowmakers are responsible for safely and efficiently operating snowmaking equipment. Snowmakers must be willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions. Snowmaking is a physically demanding job. Snow is expected to be made whenever temperatures allow, many snowmaking shifts will occur overnight. Part-time and full-time seasonal positions available. The wage range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr, based upon experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Pre-season preparation (brush cutting, snow gun and pipeline installation and snow gun setup)
- Safe and efficient operation of snowmaking equipment to produce the quality snow that Stratton guests expect
- Complete maintenance on snowmaking equipment
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Work with minimal supervision
- Assist other departments and fill in as needed
- Follow all company safety policies
- Additional duties as required
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent, required
Experience:
- Previous snowmaking experience, preferred
- Previous experience operating snowmobiles, preferred
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds
- Ability to work in all winter conditions, including snow, rain, wind, ice
- Valid driver's license with a record that meets Stratton's driver policy
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include 12 hour &/or overnight shifts
