We're seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to support our aircraft teardown and MRO operations. In this role, you'll handle the movement, documentation, and tracking of aircraft parts and components—from incoming receipts to outbound shipments—ensuring full traceability and compliance throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming parts, components, and materials against packing slips and purchase orders
- Receive parts and components removed from aircraft during teardown into inventory, ensuring proper tagging, documentation, and traceability
- Prepare, package, and ship parts domestically and internationally, including hazardous materials when certified
- Verify part numbers, serial numbers, and certifications (e.g., 8130-3, EASA Form 1) and maintain accurate traceability records
- Process transactions in inventory/ERP systems and maintain organized records
- Coordinate with freight carriers and prepare shipping documentation (BOLs, commercial invoices, customs paperwork)
- Perform inventory management duties including cycle counts, stock reconciliation, bin location maintenance, and discrepancy resolution
- Move parts safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 years in shipping/receiving, warehouse, or logistics (aviation/aerospace a plus)
- Familiarity with aircraft part traceability and certification documentation preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- IATA/DOT hazmat shipping certification a plus
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer/ERP proficiency
- Ability to lift up to [50] lbs and stand for extended periods
