Onboarding Specialist
Job Description:
The Onboarding Specialist will report directly to the Director of Advisor Onboarding.
The Onboarding Specialist will oversee the process of advisors transitioning their business to the Stratos platform. This position will collaborate with the Stratos home office, custodians, business partners and stakeholders as they process the smooth transfer of an advisor’s book of business to the Stratos platform.
In this role, the Onboarding Specialist is responsible for creating a seamless and positive onboarding experience for our Financial Advisors. They will work closely with other departments to develop and implement effective onboarding programs, provide comprehensive support to Financial Advisors and facilitate their integration into Stratos.
The Onboarding Specialist must be able to manage complex projects and processes from beginning to end.
Job Responsibilities
· Work with new advisors as their main point of contact for all aspects of onboarding.
· Collaborate with other departments within Stratos to ensure onboarding success.
· Maintain agenda, follow-up notes, and communication on advisor onboarding projects.
· Prepare new account documents including account transfer forms and other forms as applicable.
· Track, monitor, and report out on onboarding progress.
· Help new advisors get up to speed on internal processes, new software, and working with business partners.
· Follow up on the account opening process and resolve NIGOs in a timely fashion.
· Generate reports and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
Skills and Required Competencies
· BA/BS Degree preferred.
· FINRA licenses (7,66) preferred.
· 6 years’ experience in Financial Services.
· Exceptional communication skills.
· Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
· Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail.
· Skilled at working in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to travel up to 20%.
Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
