IT Purchasing Coordinator
Progressive growing Technology company is looking for a full-time IT Purchasing Coordinator who can grow with our company.
This person should be mechanically inclined, able to think on their feet, be able to work on multiple projects at any given time, be a critical thinker, analytical problem solver, and have exceptional interpersonal communication skills. Person will coordinate and track open orders for efficient processing.
The position duties include but are not limited to:
- Researching and price shopping to order technology supplies, equipment, & software
- Vendor network communication
- Entering, tracking, scanning, & filing the orders
- Preparing inventory reports and setting up product warranties
Experience with the following order processing buying specialist activities a plus:
- Two years of order processing.
- Two years purchasing experience helpful.
- Sage, E-Automate, or similar ERP software experience helpful.
- Connectwise or Sell software experience helpful.
- IT, MSP, Computer purchasing helpful.
- Account Management experience helpful.
- Experience building, fixing, or repairing computers helpful.
- Life cycle of an order process understanding helpful.
Must have the following skills:
- Order processing skills from a to z.
- Situational awareness to deal with adversity in orders.
- Situational awareness to deal with processing changes to the orders.
- Order change tracking and purchase order processing skills.
- Managing and monitoring ETA, pricing, specs, and product stock.
- Research skills to include pricing conscientious mindset and adaptable to finding interchangeable products, whether “OEM” Original Equipment Manufacturer or Universal parts.
- Mechanically inclined, analytical problem solver, and creative solutions finder.
- Trouble shooting, deadline meeting, and creative thinking skills.
- Project agreements tracking and able to interface with operations team to kick off projects.
- Creating project tickets to pull inventory, kick off projects, and deliver orders.
- Inventory warranty management.
- Ability to work in a team environment, as well as be self-managed.
- Must be organized and have excellent attention to detail skills.
- Excellent work ethic, efficient and effective production daily.
- Willing and able to keep growing and learning.
- Willing and able to adapt to the company culture.
- Be flexible to do other duties as directed by management.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: High school education with two or more years related experience, or recent college graduate. Experience with an IT company a plus.
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, generally Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. As a non-exempt employee, overtime is paid at one and one-half times rate for hours worked in excess of 40 per week.

Salary : $42,000 - $55,000
