Title:SDET – Platform Testing (Payments Domain)
Location:Either NJ or Charlotte,NC

Required Skills

• 7 years of experience as an SDET or Automation Test Engineer.

• Strong experience in Platform Testing for enterprise applications.

• Mandatory experience in the Payments domain (payment processing, payment gateways, card payments, ACH, wire transfers, real-time payments, merchant services, etc.).

• Strong hands-on experience with test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools.

• Experience with API testing using REST Assured, Postman, or similar tools.

• Good knowledge of SQL and database validation.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance or load testing tools such as JMeter.

• Experience testing cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.

• Banking or financial services experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.

• Execute functional, regression, integration, API, and platform testing.

• Validate payment workflows and ensure end-to-end transaction accuracy.

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to define test strategies.

• Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.

• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.

• Ensure software quality through continuous testing and process improvements.
