Maintenance Director – Assisted Living & Memory Care
Stratford Place is seeking a dynamic, reliable, and highly skilled Maintenance Director to oversee building operations and ensure a safe, clean, and fully functional environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Complete and track work orders in a timely manner
• Conduct routine safety inspections and correct hazards immediately
• Ensure compliance with South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) regulations
• Oversee fire safety systems, alarms, and emergency preparedness
• Coordinate and supervise outside vendors and contractors
• Maintain building exterior, grounds, and common areas
• Respond to maintenance emergencies (on-call required)
• Maintain tools, equipment, and supply inventory
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) on a rotating weekend schedule

Qualifications

• 3 years of maintenance experience (senior living or healthcare strongly preferred)
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs
• Ability to troubleshoot and fix issues independently
• Experience with life safety systems (fire alarms, sprinklers, etc.)
• Basic computer skills (work orders, communication)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet
