Strategic Workforce Development is hiring Fabrication Associates for a pipe fabrication shop in North Kansas City, MO. This role offers room to grow in fabrication and welding.
PAY AND SCHEDULE
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Shift: 1st and 2nd shift openings
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Cut pipe to length on rotary chop saws and band saws
- Run grooving machines (Victaulic or Pace) and pipe threaders
- Use a bench grinder and band saw to prepare threaded rod, and install hanger devices
- Move pipe along the table and stage finished pipe on carts or crates for loading
- Use a forklift when needed to move materials and pipe
- Help with other tasks as directed by the fabrication lead or manager
WHAT YOU NEED
- Prior mechanical assembly and/or fabrication experience
- Able to stand for a full shift and lift up to 50 pounds
- Warehouse experience and sit-down forklift experience preferred
- Good attendance is a must
