Job Description:
Strategic Technology Institute, Inc. (STi), a provider of government and private sector solutions, is seeking a Capture Manager focused on high-value capture opportunities his professional will be responsible for securing new and existing business opportunities with Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community customers The position reports to the appropriate director within STi.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute capture strategies for approved pursuits.
- Influence solution development to meet strategic project/program goals.
- Recommend and implement innovative processes, policies, and standards to achieve business wins.
- Solve complex, multidisciplinary challenges while communicating effectively with executive leadership.
- Apply expert knowledge of industry practices to develop new procedures and solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 15 years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 13 years of relevant experience.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience capturing and winning large business development programs within the DoD and/or Intelligence Community.
- Strong capability in opportunity qualification, capture strategy, relationship building (including competitors), and team leadership.
- Proven experience in negotiating teaming agreements.
- Experience creating competitive pricing strategies and preparing cost proposal materials.
- Eligibility for a Secret clearance with ability to attain a Top Secret SCI.
- Highly organized, proactive, and knowledgeable in government contracting.
- Superior leadership and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge or experience with DoD.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Experience with competitive pricing and cost proposals for fixed price or completion-type contracts.
- Active Top Secret SCI with polygraph preferred; otherwise, Top Secret with eligibility to attain SCI and polygraph.
