Summary
Strategic Technology Institute (STi) is seeking an experienced Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Flight Program in Oklahoma City, OK. This position supports the maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of FAA-operated aircraft to ensure continued airworthiness and mission readiness. Technicians will work on a fleet that includes Beechcraft King Air 300, King Air C90GTi, and Challenger 600 series aircraft while adhering to FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and established maintenance programs.

- Schedule: 4/10s or 5/8s, depending on operational needs
- Pay: $34.32/hour
- Health & Welfare (H&W): $4.93/hour
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications on FAA aircraft.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, powerplant, and airframe discrepancies.
- Perform maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer maintenance manuals, and company procedures.
- Document maintenance actions accurately in maintenance records and electronic systems.
- Use precision measuring tools, torque wrenches, and other specialized aircraft maintenance equipment.
- Conduct functional checks and return aircraft to service following maintenance activities.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
- Work collaboratively with FAA personnel and maintenance teams to support mission requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate (Required)
- Recent experience performing aircraft maintenance on turbine-powered aircraft
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams
- Experience troubleshooting aircraft systems
- Strong knowledge of FAA maintenance regulations and industry best practices
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and work in hangar and flight line environments
- Ability to obtain and maintain FAA suitability
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a Part 121, Part 135, or Part 145 environment
- King Air or Challenger aircraft experience
- Corporate, government, or military aviation maintenance experience
